Why Come Out Green?
Because allowing the social stigma of cannabis to continue to exist does a lot of damage to our society and our world. People have to hide something that’s important to them. People can’t get access to a medicine that can truly benefit them. People feel embarrassed to be associated with something they enjoy. People lose their jobs, their benefits, and in some cases their freedom. Let’s come together and show the world that the old, out-dated stereotypes no longer exist.
Now for the legal speak.
At the time of this campaign, cannabis possession and cultivation remain illegal under federal law. Even states that have passed cannabis laws have not made cannabis possession and cultivation legal in all circumstances. Although Green Flower Media hopes that this campaign eliminates the stigmas associated with being a cannabis user and helps change the laws and regulations, we don’t want viewers to break the law or do anything that would jeapordize your health, well-being, or security. Unfortunately, you could experience harm or damages by coming out as a cannabis user and Green Flower Media will not be held responsible or liable. Green Flower Media strongly suggests you meet with a local attorney that is familiar with the cannabis laws where you live before possessing or cultivating cannabis for either recreational or medical use.
